Final pieces with poems or haikus or other special writing styles must be within 2 pages.Final fanfictions must be 250 - 1000 words, formatted, and proofread.
Please do not use pictures or elements that you do not own or do not have rights to use.Please include some color, pattern, or elements to the background. Fully illustrated backgrounds are not required, but we don’t want completely blank backgrounds!.If you need any help digitally editing it, please contact us. Traditional art (on paper) should be scanned at 300dpi and cropped to the same pixel ratios as above.If landscape, make it 3600x2700 pixels at least 150 dpi. Final illustrations must be fully colored at 1800x2700 pixels at least 150 dpi.Images similar to this in tone and symbolism is okay. If you are unsure whether your piece is explicit, please show us and ask. For example, characters doing self-harm (cutting or self mutilation) is prohibited. Please do not create detailed or explicit depictions of blood or physical harm. If you are depicting some form of physical harm, please look at the film for examples of what would be acceptable.Themes of Bullying, Depression, Suicide are allowed with some discretion.We appreciate if you only post cropped previews or WIPs on your social media until the zine is released.All contributors are allowed 2 pieces total.Writers must submit a 40 - 100 word summary, proposal, or start of your fiction.Your idea may change as long as final piece is submitted before the last deadline. When applying, you must provide the concept of your piece. The quality/detail of the concept does not matter.Selling and redistribution of this zine is prohibited. If you can follow all guidelines, you’re in. No participants will be earning any profit.
